New Range of Levelling Feet fitted with Blue Hygienilac® Anti-bacterial Bases

We have launched a new blue polypropylene based feet range, to complement our current line of adjustable feet, incorporating the anti-bacterial element of Hygienilac®.This will be of particular interest to our customers in the food industry.

Effective against a number of bacteria including MRSA*, C-Difficile, Salmonella and E-Coli, (as certified by Bodycote Lawlabs) this additive is already used in hospitals and care homes; but this is the first time that it has been incorporated into adjustable feet in the conveyor industry.

Hygienilac® is an active ingredient with FDA** and HSE** approval for indirect and incidental food contact. It prevents the bacteria’s access to nutrients so that they starve and die and has a kill rate of 99.9% over a 24 hour period. The additive is homogeneously distributed through the moulded part and locked into the resin matrix, so it never wears off, unlike surface treatments. Furthermore, it does not employ silver technology so is not affected by UV light, and is not affected by repeated washing and cleaning surfaces (with non oxidizing cleaners).

Currently available from stock are sizes M10 to M24, with thread lengths 100mm, 150mm and 200mm; conical base diameters 50mm, 80mm and 100mm, and bolt down base diameters 80mm and 100mm.
