Who are we?
Arnott Handling Equipment Limited (Registration number 5046307) was established in 1976 to supply quality conveyor components to both conveyor manufacturers and end users within the food and pharmaceutical Industries. We operate from our custom build premises in Brixworth, Northants giving us excellent links to the rest of the U.K.
I have forgotten my password. What do I do next?
If for any reason you are unable to remember your account password simply go to the log in page and click on "Send me my password". You will be asked to enter your email address and the password will be emailed to you.
Will I get a VAT invoice with my goods?
All orders are dispatched complete with a V.A.T. invoice irrespective of the value. I am having problems with my shopping basket and account. What should I do?
Our site like many others uses standard technology called "Cookies". In order for our site to work correctly your Web browser needs to be set to enable cookies. The cookies enable us to identify that you have visited our website and stores information about the products you visit. We do not use them for any other purpose.
Why do you we deliver online purchases to the registered card address only?
We only deliver to the cardholders to help reduce fraud. This is standard business practice and is in the interest of both the card holder and ourselves.
Please note that if you wish us to deliver to an alternative address we will require payment by cheque. In this instance please select "offline order" and forward your cheque with a copy of the order.
What payments do we accept?
You can pay online using Visa, Delta, Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro, JCB or by cheque posted to Arnott Handling Equipment Limited, Ferro Fields, Scaldwell Road Industrial Estate, Brixworth, Northants. NN6 9UA. The payment method required must be selected at point of order.
In the case of Adjustable feet of any type, Feet inserts, Flange bearings or Quick release mechanisms the funds will not be debited from your account until the date of despatch.
However where the goods are manufactured to suit customer specific sizes, as is the case with Plastic, Stainless steel or Aluminium gravity rollers or Enclosed type gravity rollers the funds will be debited when the order is first received. This is to minimise the possibility of fraudulently placed orders for fictitious goods. Please note that with these rollers the goods would normally be despatched within 5 working days of receipt of order.
What if I live outside of the UK & Ireland?
We accept orders from outside the U.K. Your credit card will be debited in £Sterling and converted by your Credit Card Company at their conversation rate into your currency.
When will I get my goods?
When in stock orders received by 2.00 p.m. are dispatched the same day by either first class post (1-2kg) or next day carrier (2.1kg +). Items which require manufacturing are generally dispatched within 5 working days. You will be advised of the delivery date when your order is acknowledged.
What if I wish to return my purchase?
You may return purchases of Adjustable feet, Feet inserts, Flange bearings or Quick release units within seven days of receipt provided that they are in an "as new" condition (meaning unused and in original packaging, showing no sign of damage)
We will refund the full value of the goods only, within 30 days unless the goods are deemed faulty after our inspection. Goods must be returned in original packing, unmarked or damaged. We cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to any item whilst the goods are in transit.
If you wish to return a product for any reason please first make contact with our Customer services department on +44 (0) 1604 882232. Please indicate the reason for return and include a copy of your invoice with the goods.
Customised products (Plastic, stainless steel, mild steel, Aluminium and enclosed type gravity rollers) are excluded from this offer.
How do I make a complaint?
We work hard to ensure that you will not have any need to make a complaint. If however for any reason you are dissatisfied with any stage of our service then we want to hear about it. I have placed my order on-line. When will I receive it?A. Arnott Handling Equipment Limited
When in stock, orders received by 2.00 p.m. are dispatched the same day by either first class post (1-2kg) or next day carrier (2.1kg +).
When despatched you will be sent an e-mail advising of the despatch method. If this is by next day carrier you will be informed of the consignment note number for you to track on-line using the link direct to http://www.anc.co.uk/index1.asp should you wish to do so. Items which require manufacturing are generally dispatched within 5 working days. You will be advised of the delivery date when your order is acknowledged.

i. UK
The delivery charge on all e-commerce purchased items is advised at the point of order. The charge is based on the weight, the size, the service requested and the destination of the goods. The weight of the purchased items are also shown at the point of order.
We can deliver to UK mainland, Scottish Highlands & Islands (2 day service), Northern Ireland (2 day service), Republic of Ireland (2 day service), Isle of Man (2 day service), Isles of Scilly (2-3 day service), Isle of Wight (Next day) and the Channel Islands (2 day service)
For all offshore deliveries the maximum parcel dimensions and weight are 1200 mm long x 600 mm wide x 800 mm high, weight 30 kg per parcel.Time of delivery
As standard all parcels despatched to the UK mainland are on a next day delivery service with the goods being delivered before 3 p.m.
In addition at point of order you may select from the following chargable additional premium services.
Delivery by 9.30 a.m. (10.30 a.m. Scotland) Mon - Fri
Delivery by 12.00 p.m. Mon - Fri
Saturday by 9.30 a.m.
Saturday by 12.00 p.m.
Please note these options are only available for delivery on the U.K mainlandFor items NOT ordered via the e-commerce method, if requested you will be advised of the carriage charge once the weight has been established.ii. European Union plus Norway and Switzerland
The delivery charge on all Export e-commerce purchased items is advised at the point of order. The charge is based on the weight, the size, the service requested and the destination of the goods ( Zones 1 - 4). The weight of the purchased items are also shown at the point of order. Please note that in the case of Norway and Switzerland an additional £ 25 is added to cover the cost for final customs clearence.

Whilst every effort is made to update the information contained on this website, the Arnott Group reserves the right to change at any time or discontinue without notice, anything on the website. Information on this site is offered for information purposes.

Any trade marks displayed on this website are registered and may not be used or reproduced without the prior written permission of the Arnott Group.
4. Selling
The ranges of goods sold on this website via e-commerce are clearly listed (see home page) and are not inclusive of conveyors which are shown as examples only.
5. Prices
Prices for all items sold via the e-commerce section of the website are as quoted in the shopping basket, all other items shown or listed are quoted via hard copy or e-mail following detailed specification from customer.
6. Price increases and changes
Any price increases will be automatically applied when using the e-commerce area of the website, price increases to other areas will be applied to new and existing customers on a case by case basis.
7. Acknowledgement of order
When the above is sent following placement of order, this does not guarantee despatch of goods only confirms that your order has been received
8. Payment
All sales via the Arnott Handling Equipment Ltd e-commerce area of the website will be by credit card or cheque payment in advance. This must be selected at point of order.

Payment terms with regard to Arnott Conveyors Ltd are on account and will be 30% with order followed by 70% on despatch unless otherwise agreed in writing between Arnott Conveyors Ltd and the customer.
9. Late or no delivery of goods
The Arnott Group accept no liability for losses incurred due to late or non arrival of goods, similarly The Arnott Group accept no liability when actions such as, but not exclusive to, late deliveries from suppliers, damage by carriers or defective supplies cause late or non arrival of goods.
10. Return of goods
Should goods prove to be faulty they should be returned to the Arnott Group at the customers expense for inspection. If the fault is in the manufacture a full refund or replacement goods will be issued.
11. Data Protection
The Arnott Group will not pass your details to third parties and if requested will remove your details from the companies database.
Your payment details are only retained for use by our office until the payment transaction has been completed. Following which all credit / debit card information is deleted.
12. Your order
By clicking on confirm you accept that you have read and understood our full terms and conditions.
You are also confirming that all the information provided by yourselves is accurate and correct to the best of your knowledge.
You are advised that any information you provide to us is liable to checking for approval to confirm its validity. This includes, but is not limited to Credit card checks.
When you have taken receipt of the goods you are accepting that the goods supplied are in an acceptable and satisfactory condition. However in the case where goods cannot be established faulty until such time as the box is opened we acknowledge that this is an exception to the above condition.
